Perhaps you could list what you're doing and at which point you're having the problem.
As has been said before, 'we can't see what is happening on your PC, so require you to give us that information.' _________________ Richard

Hello. Going to the poi download section. trying to download theatre and special interest related poi's. Click the uk box, click the relevant sections, click the radio button, asks where to save? I have tried both directly to my tom tom and to My documents. doesn't get to TOM TOM and cant open saved file with winzip says `something about corrupt file. Have tried this several times.

When you get the download properly, it IS a zip file so the drill is to save it onto your PC first, then unzip it (if you have Windows XP or later you don't need Winzip, just right click on it and select "extract all").
Then you need to copy the .ov2 files and the .bmp files into your named map folder on the TomTom.
If you are getting a corrupted file...
First, have you tried the "show link" button next to the "download" button? (it says "use 'show link' if you have problems opening the file once downloaded or it appears to be empty" beside it). This sorts out most issues.
Next...
Have you tried re-downloading?
Can you try a different PC or web browser? |
