|
|
Just noticed a few online stores are now showing the 930T as in stock
Checked with Pixmania and have confirmed stock available for UK of the 930T including the UK HD Traffic @ £389 + Shipping (- 4% Quidco if you use them)
Sure it will turn up cheaper in the long run but if you want to get in first not a bad deal, some other online stores were also showing stock available but not been able to verify any of them |

Odd then that I spoke with TomTom earlier today and they stated that the 930's have not yet shipped to retailers _________________ Darren Griffin |

I know thats what I thought,
So icalled the support line earlier and they confirmed they arrived earlier this afternoon, they are not alone there are now several other online retailers advertising them as in stock (none i would trust tho)
Personally Pix have never steered me wrong or said something was in stock when it wasn't although others may have different views.
Will be interesting to see if they have sourced them before others..
Cheers

And odder still as HD Traffic has not yet been launched in the UK, something very fishy here, my contacts at TomTom wouldn't say it hadn't shipped if it had. _________________ Darren Griffin |

When you get this can you take some pictures of the box and its contents as some of us would be most interested to see what it contains, the HD Traffic is the main part - Mike |

Hi Mike
You can be sure I will, I am sure you are familiar with our (Me & Richard "flashyphotos") photo disections of the 910 and Gen1 TMC so the 930 (if it arrives will no doubt suffer the same fate!)
I am just hoping it arrives by Thurs PM as I am working 10am to 10pm Fri Sat Sun!!!! So heres hoping (for whatever it is that shows up in the box)
Cheers

I had nothing but a bad experience of shopping with this company (orders going missing before dispatch, long delays in shipping) previously and PERSONALLY would not shop with them again. Even if this would have me paying more for a product elsewhere or having to wait longer to get it from a more reputable retailer.
N.B. Just MY personal experience with the company, thats all.
Isn't the 'T' designator on the GO models simply referenced to standard 'Traffic', and not 'HD Traffic' which is a separate add-on product where the Go 930HD would be the model description which would come with the HD traffic module.
Can't see any announcement of it on Tomtom's website either.
I'd put money on pixmainia taking orders, and then incurring "dispatch problems" of some sort where we'll eventually see them dispatched when they ACTUALLY come to retail along with everyone else.
It looks just like good (on there part anyway, not for us) marketing to secure custom before they actually are in stock IMO. _________________ Graeme Bennett

Hi Vicky,
What were the other stores you noticed them for sale in? _________________ Graeme Bennett

OK
Just got my shipping email from Pixmania,
So Called them and they confirmed its shipped today for Delivery by Friday,
I confirmed it was the 930T as pictured and detailed, and they swear it is, and they got stock yesterday afternoon, so will just have to wait and see what! arrives
Cost £391 including shipping then got £13.50 back though Quidco, have kept screenshots and details that all say its the 930T so if it isnt there will be a fuss kicked up
WIll update Friday when it (whatever it is) arrives with photos etc.. |

Hope it is all as it should be Vicky.
just reading their ad and it makes me nervous.
They say " with the traffic feature you wont need to hesitate when approaching a junction" whats that all about? i thought that was the lane thing, not the traffic info. |

Fingers crossed for you. never heard a good word said about them.
If you Google Pixmania Complaints and similar the WWW is full of info!!
From memory I think everything comes in french as well but that easy is to overcome.
