Does anyone have an explanation as to why the safety camera database slows my gps?? When the unit boots and the first page appears (map page) the roads and detail are visible however once I install the database it takes around 24 seconds for them to appear.I have tried with no other poi's installed and different size and speed cards, adjusting the scale at which the icons appear and nothing improves the speed except the removal of the DB.The redrawing of maps whilst panning is also affected.
Tia

Thanks strumble, its worse than I thought, I just did a comparison with a stop watch insted of guessing : No cameras = 6.21 secs ...15190 cams inc verifier files = 35.82 secs...
