Windows Mobile / TomTom 6 / BT GPS Pairing Issue

Hi folks,

I'm using TomTom Navigator 6 (Western Europe version) on an HTC TyTN (with Windows Mobile 6), with a BT GPS receiver.

When I first turn on the GPS receiver and start TomTom all is well. If I turn off the GPS receiver and exit TomTom, then turn the GPS receiver back on and restart TomTom, TomTom is unable to find the device.

Based on the flashing lights of the GPS receiver it doesn't seem to be connected to the TyTN. So I don't think TomTom is the issue here.

All I seem to be able to do to reconnect is delete the device, re-pair, and reconnect. Even resetting the TyTN is not enough to get it to reconnect.

Any ideas on how I can resolve this?

You are EXITing TomTom aren't you? Not simply putting it in the background using the X button (close window) at Top RHS.

If you don't exit the application cleanly then the bluetooth s/w gets "confused" and refuses to accept re-connections.

Yep, properly exiting through the menu structure.
