Hello, I have downloaded the csv speed camera details for memory map but when I try to install them Memory Map rejects them & displays the message "bitmap file for icon must be 32x32 pixels-16-colours uncompressed". your icons I see are 22x22.
Can you advise as to what I must do to enter them into Memory Map?
many thanks |

which files did you want to use? single file? consolidated? speed zoned?
i've created some 32x32 files for single file and consolidated here:
http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/memorymap_bmp.zip
They are saved as 8-bit but not sure about the '16 colours'?
if you let me know if they work or not!

many thanks for your prompt reply. I've tried adding the files you suggested but I am still getting the same message that they must be 32x32 etc. even though your ones are showing as 32x32. The odd thing is though that the files I deleted from Mem.Map before installing this update are 22x22 & they worked fine. I'd be grateful for any other suggestions.
kindest regards |

Memory Map icons need to be 16 colour (4 bit) not 256 colour. |

Hi. MaFt I've been away from computer for a while, but on checking today there seems to be no solution to my problem with installing the database onto memory map. I have tried all 3 data bases but none work. I see rothers says they must be 4 bit, but that doesn't mean much to me. Any further suggestions would be appreciatted.

Load Mafts icons into Microsoft Paint (Windows / Start / Accessories / Paint) then resave using .. (File / Save As ) .. and select 16 Colour Bitmap ( as opposed to 256 Colour or 24 Bit etc) as the file type. See if that works. _________________ Aprilia Tuono, Zumo 550

It was just a combination of MaFts and Rothers info _________________ Aprilia Tuono, Zumo 550
