Getting rid of my TomTom One, i have not really been happy with it. It is slow getting reception and when its cold it will not switch on so I have to put it on the heater to warm up (honest). Also the suction cup is a waste of time and I find it fiddly to do some tasks.

I want to move back to Garmin, specifically a Nuvi....

I use the Sat Nav for field service engineer work, maybe making up to 8 different address visits per day. I need easy address/post code input. (TT was okay for this). I also need a quick way to store a found address or visited address (TT was fiddly).

Dont need FM for MP3, TM may be handy but not a neccessity. Hands free not really needed as I have a parrot but may be handy for cross vehicle usage.

Really looking for features that would be handy for Field service work. i.e. lots of local addresses. I don't need Europe out the box but at least an option for an upgrade would be useful. Wide screen would nice too. Speed cam database is a must as well as the ability to import other custom databases of waypoints.

I have tried the Garmin compare site and almost decided on the Nuvi 660 but think I may be getting someting over spec'd, I also read it was discontinued. I am really after advice for/against the Nuvi for how I will use it, maybe views on how others compare it to the TT One.

Ta.

The Nuvi 250 ticks most of your boxes, its only the lack of a wide screen which it misses. Otherwise it would be the 660 if wide screen was a must have, it's not discontinued.
