I have just purchased TT3 with a wired GPS and I need help. I dont appear to be getting a signal from the GPS as I get is the message GPS disabled.
Is there anyway to test the GPS to see if it is working?
Is there anyone that has a similar setup that lives local to me. (J9 M25)
I have an Ipaq 2210, TT3 with wired GPS and a cable that connects the two together. |

It would be a help if you could let the folks on here know which GPS you have.
Could it be (I wonder) that the very first fix takes a little while to get as the GPS is starting from scratch? (Mine took about 45 minutes - but only seconds after that).
Post back with the model of your GPS and I am sure someone will be more than happy to assist

In TomTom Map mode, go to File...GPS status...GPS, select NMEA 4800 and COM1: and then check the checkbox. Then go back to the Status tab and see if the dots are flying.
On the TomTom GPS receiver, is the LED blinking red or green? _________________ Lutz

Thanks for the quick reply.
The LED flashes green.
I am unable to get into GPS status, I get the message "Unable to launch GPS control panel" |
