Hi all, I wonder if one of you could answer a question I have. … for months now I've been eagerly waiting for the release of Copilot 7 (I'm using Copilot 5 at present) but now it's been released I'm not sure I can use it on my current pocket pc as it's an iPaq h3970, am right or am I wrong? (fingers crossed I'm wrong and I can go ahead with the purchase). Thanks very much for your help. |

I am using CoPilot 7 on a Compaq iPAQ 3970 and it works fine. Howver the 3970 originally shipped with Pcoket PC Windows 2002. HP issued an upgrade to Pocket PC 2003. I had upgraded my iPAQ using that CD. If you have done that you will be OK.
In Settings/ System then About I have Pocket PC version 4.20.1081 listed - which is Pocket PC 2003.
If you have that version you should be fine. I think HP still will supply the upgrade CDs if you need them.
