So anybody know what happened to the promised POI tool (Import/Export) that was listed on the D3 Community Web Site??

Do you have something to export?
Can you give me an idea how to use such tools?
ActiveSync and File Expolorer - is this the tool are you looking for? |

I mailed them a few weeks ago about the POI thing, but still no reply. The closest we got was the skin designer which seems pointless.
In any case the personal POIs are not handled in the same way - you can't say "Show me all LPG petrol stations near here". |

They promissed this tool for a next version (3.1 or whatever).
By the way you can say "show me all...". When you check a POI category in the dialog you will see the icons on the map.
I found a way how to search a point Firstly, in "City->Street" find a place not far from the POI I need. Press in this dialog "Set As Origin" (or how it's called). Then you can enter to the POI dialog.
Once I found a setting page for this dialog, but now I don't remember where. |
