Hi currently have a Moi C710 and am considering 'upgrading' ?? to a TomTom Go 720.

Two queries Will the TomTom warn me if I am over the speed limit ?
Will the TomTom show my route in 3D, changing and zooming
to my route as I approach a change of direction.

Thanks in anticipation
Mike

The 7 series software will offer an audible over speed warning if so configured (it is set to do this by default out of the box, a simple sound but it gets your attention).
If you continue to speed the audio warning stops (thankfully) and the speed indictaion displays your current speed in red vs the map data speed in white next to it. The map data speed can be wrong so its a good job it doesn't do the audio warning all the time.

Zooming, the TomTom 7 series offer you the choice to select auto zoom or you can turn this feature off (not before time) - the choice is yours, again by default the device will auto zoom straight out of the box - Mike

I've had a TT700 for c.18 months. Decided (before the 720 announcement) to have a change to something a bit sexier and went for the Mio 520. It was a good bit of kit, but the maps were, ironically, far too detailed. On the road, I just couldn't see anything, even tho' the navigation worked fine.

After three days, the 720 was announced, and I returned the Mio. 720 now on order...
