Does anyone know how to add POI to D3 and how to download/upload them?
I was rather hoping for the TomTom system which looks so good, and is very well supported. |

AFAIK, that feature is not yet supported by D3. There will be a patch for it in the future But if fixing the roundabout bug is anything to go by then I wouldn't hold your breath 8O |

Destinator supports custom POI but it's a bit different concept.
D3 lets you add a new category in Favorites and you can add points (like 7-11) by address.
Once you are done, there is a check box which you can check/uncheck next to a category name icon. If you check this, Destinator will show all items in that checked category on the map. |

Ah - Ithink I have used this, when adding a favourite (mainly because the upgrade doesn't take them) it did ask me to add it to category, but it does not appear under the POI.
I will play around with it tonight in more detail.
Thanks for replying |

Has any one got hold of the POI exporter/importer from PowerLOC yet? Or does the new version support the import/export at all? I keep seeing the POI-sync building up on this website and am feeling left out. |
