dont know if this is what you are talking about but here goes:
Transfer of card material to a memory card:
The transfer of addional card material to a memory card will preferably take place through the Explorer of the PC. Proceed as follows:
1. insert the DVD with card material requiered.
2. Start the workstation and select DVD drive.
3. Copy the file with the .psf ending out of the directory of the reion that you require to the MapRegions directory on the memory card, from the DVD drive.
you can transfer several files with map material to the meory card, depending on the capacity of the memory card. there must be sufficiant space on the memory card.
if you have copied digitized maps of several countries or county groups onto the mamory card, you will be required to select the desired map in the navigation aplication of your device. |

No, that refers to copying new map data. We need details on installing user or custom POis, do you have an electronic version of the manual you could email to us? _________________ Darren Griffin |

Alternative Installation of the Navigation Software from a Memory Card
the software for your navigation system can also be installed directly from a memory card prepared accordingly.
The pre-installed software may have to beuninstalled beforehand (use spacial CleanUp function).
You will be requested to install the navigation software during the initial adjustment. please proceed as follows.
1. remove memory card from packaging carefully. pay atention that the contacts are not touched or soiled.
2. push memory card into the SD-/MMC slot.
3. Clck OK, in order to install the application.
Tha main screen, through which you will now be able to carry out the navigation settings, will appear after all data has been copied to your navigation system. |

OK, the good news is you can use our database, the bad news is you need to purchase an additional plug-in called POI_Warner to enable the functionality needed to use custom POIs and receive warnings. You can purchase and download this here:

You need the Other - ASC version of our database. I'm not familiar with the use of POI-Warner so can't advise how you actually import the files. There are users in this thread who have the same units and have resolved this issue, hopefully tehy can advise on how you get our database onto your unit. _________________ Darren Griffin |
