I will start by saying thanks to those who have helped esp Darren for finding out what the problem is; what got me is the difference in time to procecss an order when on the other occassions I was granted a subscription immediately. So OK i admit it was my fault. Tho I would suggest thining down some of the web pages as they are too busy. Will have to wait til June then to update my DB. |

Thanks for the feedback, we ARE in the process of discussing how we can 'simplify' these pages - it would also be nice if Payal made their prcess clearer for example when a payment is going to be processed as an eCheque then they could always put up a warning sayin 'this is an ecqheque payment which may take 10 days to clear - click ok to continue or cancel to choose a different payment method'. we can only hope...

Would it cause too much of a backlash if you just had one subscription option - annual? _________________ Andy

Personally I would prefer that as the only option but I fear it would be unpalatable to many. _________________ Darren Griffin |

a lot of people just use the monthly one and only update 3 or 4 times a year.

Then, perhaps, two options - six-month and annual
...then those who pay for 3 or 4 updates might still feel that they're in pocket (or at least not out of pocket)
These options would probably still be better value than TomTom, NavMan or whoever.
The only way you'll gat not complaints would be if you gave free membership to everyone - obviously not a solution either
..but I might just have given you a couple of possibly useful options to consider _________________ Andy
