|
|
Hi guys,
Have any of you used one of the recent versions of mapsource in Germany? Specifically the Eiffel mountain region, as I'm going to the Nurburgring in August and last year I used a friend's Evesham satnav, but the maps on it had very little detail of any roads once I got off the main autobahn route.
Would City Navigator Europe get me to my hotel, off the beaten track as it were? According to Garmin's website, it has "detailed" mapping of the whole of Germany, but it says that it has more detail of the metropolitan areas, which would suggest that it doesn't include every single road between the villages in the countrside regions. Anyone got any experiences they can share?
Thanks,
Neil. |

What's your hotel, and where is it? I have the V8 of CitySelect that I can look at for you. There is a V9 of CityNavigator which would be even more up to date. _________________ Tim |

The hotel address is Wilhelmshöhe 4, Auderath. Post code: 56766. It's in the Rheinland Pfalz region(sp?), in the south west of Germany.
Thanks! :D |

The hotel itself isn't in the POI database but the road certainly is. _________________ Tim |
