Hi
After using the camera database for over a year now updating with ebery relaease, i decided to try the speed zoned cameras, after putting the cameras on the usual way my tomtom Go would only show SPECS cameras 40mph 50mph and 60mph and no other cameras.
I deleted the files from the TOMTOM, but the last few attempts to put any cameras on has resulted in nothing being diplayed, the files are on the TOMTOM but just won't display, they are not even listed in the "Enable/diable POI" list
any ideas??

How many Custom POI files have you got in the map folder? - the limits are:
39 for TomTom version 5 software
100 For TomTom version 6 software
If you have more files than the limit this explains why the POI files don't display correctly for selection - have a look at the map folder and how many files can you see with a file extension of ov2?
You will need to delete some to make room for the full speed camera installation, consider using sub-cat single POI files for fuel and or ATM's lets face it do you care where the fuel comes from, or where cash comes from - you only need a single file for either of these examples under normal conditions, and this can reduce the number of Custom POI categories used - Mike |

No idea when or if a version 7 will / might appear, or what it will contain, obviously version 7 is the next logical step (although numbers have been omitted from main stream previously - vs 4 was little published, other than the HP devices it was supplied loaded on) - will have to wait on this one and manage with the 100 limit, you never know the 100 could go back down to 50 or 39 with the next iteration of software, there again it could increase - who knows - Mike |

Grey555 - I can't even THINK of 300 POI categories!
If you really need all of them, don't forget you can use one of several utilities (POI Edit is one) to merge several categories into one. For example if you had all the petrol station brands seperately, you could combine them into one big "fuel" category. |
