Rushton50, can I suggest it would be much easier for all of us if you put your answers in the same thread as your question?
Have you checked that the settings on your unit are shown as 'Statute'? _________________ Anita

I suggested that in the original thread, and he said he's already checked that. That's why I suggested he checks the settings on the unit.
Rushton50, you see the complications you get by starting a new thread, which doesn't show what's already been suggested and tried? _________________ Anita

Anita, may i suggest you find out why i may have started a new thread before lunging in at me at every given opportunity!
As it happens i clicked the new thread link as opposed to the reply!
I apologise for this error however, most forums would have these two seperated.
If it can be deleted than by all means have it deleted
And yes i know the complications of starting a new thread albeit an answer/ reply to the original post.
A bit of civility wouldnt go a miss and from my first post all you have done or try to do is have a go at everything i have said and would suggest that unless you can show some civilityand cant say anything constructive, then dont say owt at all!
You may be an experienced member, but no one deserves the sort of jumped up snided remarks.
One last thing! Have you got a problem with new posters as many other sites tend to do?
Thanks matt, but have installed the new update and it has now resolved the speed issues i had before so thanks for your constructive help. |

Just how have I had a go at everything you've said? My three posts regarding your problem were:
Quote: | Try reloading the cameras to your unit but this time, on the POILoader screen where you select the directory where the data files can be found, make sure that, in the Units drop-down box, you select Feet and MPH, not Metres and KPH, which seems to be the default! |
The same suggestion that you were so grateful to MaFt for later and, since the speeds you quoted were the metric equivalents of the MPH speed limits, a common cause of the problem you were experiencing.
Quote: | Rushton50, can I suggest it would be much easier for all of us if you put your answers in the same thread as your question?

A reasonable suggestion re the two threads, I would have thought, and one you may not have been aware of if you were new to forums. And then more constructive advice re your problem.

An explanation to MaFt why, in this thread, I hadn't suggested the usual reason for strange speed alerts.
And then I was simply pointing out that, due to your starting a new thread, MaFt had wasted his time posting a suggestion that had already been made, although when he made it it was constructive help!
Since you consider my attempts to help as "jumped up snide remarks" I can assure you you won't have to put up with my assistance again.
