New maps from tomtom

As anyone bought the new maps from TomTom.

If so, can you tell me what post code FY6 8HY brings up.

I complained to TeleAtlas 3 or 4 years ago, and I'm wondering if it's been corrected.

Mine also comes up with Main Drive. What should it be?

Your postcode also says Main Drive on my GO700 - original map.

It shows being able to turn into it from either Carr Head Lane or further down at another junction with Oldfield Crescent on one side and Brockholes Crescent on the other.

Main Drive then has a loop at the end of it.

yep i get the same,

using the tomtom 0ne v2 europe, this map has alot of new places listed which my stolen 910 didnt, so all in all very very good.

It supposed to be Carr Close. Anybody trying to deliver to Carr Close using the post code can't find it, as it usually comes up with main drive.

Whay I can't understand is, Carr Close as NEVER been Main Drive, it's been Carr Close for " 40+" years.

I suppose one day they'll get it right.

I first reported the name error in 2002/3.

i reported it through TomTom's website, also through TeleAtlas web site
