I have a Porsche Carrera 996(lucky me!) with Porshe/Navteq system.
The discs supplied with the car are now 4 years out of date.
The only way I can update the maps is to buy new ones from Porsche although it is Navteq mapping.
They want £450 for the current discs! This is a lot of money for an update.
Is there any way of getting the mapping at a sensible price.

I could be cheecky here but won't

basicly if its porcshe banded it'll cost I'm afraid. as the discs will be locked to that type of system of you coud scrap th built in one and get something like a go910 for around the same money Laughing

Getting sympathy for problems with a Porsche is a bit like trying to get sympathy when describing the problems you are having with your servants. Smile

I think Porsche may use the same system as VW, but not sure. You could ask here http://www.satnavsystems.com/#

Have you tried ordering from the Navteq web site as a single country is €160
and €350 for all of Europe if you need it.

They do not have your car listed but if you email or riing them I am sure they can help you further
