Hi all
I have Vodafone V1640 which is basically a rebranded HTC Universal. It is also sold in slightly different flavours as the O2 XDA Exec, Orange SPV M5000, T-Mobile MDA Pro, i-Mate JasJar, Qtek 9000.
It runs Windows Mobile 5.0.
Has anyone managed to get any version of TT working on one of these? Either TT Navigator or TT Mobile?
Thanks for all help |

TomTom Navigator version 5,21 will work fine on this device, whilst the unit is a phone it is infact a PDA based phone so you need the Navigator version NOT the smart phone variant.
You also need to use a Bluetooth GPS unit with this as its the only way of getting data into the phone, wired connections will simply not work - Mike |

I do have a GPS (Holux 236 and a Clipon) but was unsure about which version would work on this phone.
Thanks for that Mike. |

236 works fine with my XDA Exec so you should be sorted once the software is loaded and activated. One other thing to consider is a decent car holder for the phone, you don't want it flying around the car when driving! I use a Brodit mount for my device, nice and secure - Mike |
