|
|
I have a Garmin Quest, and for some reason the POI loader only works for the Quest 2, and I have seen references to an overlay database which I could use, which does got give warnings, but the safety cameras appear overlaid over my mapping.
Is this database maintained and updated? and does anyone know where I can download it ? Is it available on Pocket GPS World ?
Thanks for any replies |

Hi, welcome to the forum. :D
Yes, the GPSR map is available as a download format, and is maintained and kept in step with the rest of the POI database. To download it, just select 'Garmin' from the SatNav System dropdown box, then 'GPSR Map Overlay' from the Camera Selections dropdown. |

Sorry, I've only given you half the story there. You need to register as a member (see the Members Area section on the left). Then go to the Speed Cameras section and choose Download.
I can confirm the map does work with the quest. There's a screenshot taken from a Quest on my website. |
