You have updated to TTN 5.2 correct?
Have you also set the outgoing comport in BT manager on the Vario? |

You never said if you also set the outgoing port. If you have and still no joy, turn off your Vario with the main power button (long press and wait for the warning to appear on screen, then confirm shut down). Restart the Vario with the same button and try the GPS Config again. |

6 or 7 is irrelevent in this case, either the outgoing port is not set or TTN5.0 config is retained in cache as covered here.

Spanler1515, again, have you ALSO set the outgoing port? |

You are clearly using TTN v5.0. Install the update to 5.2 via active sync.
http://www.tomtom.com/support/index.php?Language=1&FID=3361
Then I would delete the GPS pairing and start again using this guide.
"In Bluetooth devices tab select New Partnership.
When it finds your GPS unit select it and press Next.
Enter passKey code if prompted, then press Next... (0000 in the BT321)
Select Serial Port check box, then Finish.....(port 6)
Go to the Com Ports tab, Select New Outgoing Port.
Select the GPS unit from the list and press Next.
Select the Com port from the Dropdown box ***(COM6)***. Press Finish."
Credit mikealder.
Then turn off the Vario as described earlier to flush the cache (You MUST do this!) Start BT, then TTN. Try the TTN GPS config again under "other BT". |
