Right now I'm using my nuvi to download and upload data on my SD cards. Is there any benefit in buying a dedicated card reader?

I use a Maplins £10 33 in 1 usb2 card reader, and have tansfered micro sd card data from I3 to the nuvi and also have put back ups on memory stick.
So for me the card reader works well.
Also transfered micro drive and memory stick photo's to the sd card via the card reader! |

Looks like the number of different card formats is getting out of hand |

You bet! 4 slots that can take 33 different cards, some face down and some face up and no indication as to which way they go unless you try and peer into the slot |

nt if sd cards are the only ones you need...
i use my camera for an xd card reader, my wifes camera for an sd card reader... anything else anyone wants me to read then they have to provide it in a format that i can use |
