|
|
Hi.
Searched but confused. I want to have "text to speach" on the PGWS Camera files for my 910. Seen posts that suggest that this is possible but cannot find any detail of how. Suspect is on the 910 options.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks _________________ Fraserp

Just a clarification.
In relation to cameras, what I'm trying to achieve is for a specific comment against a specific speed camera, i.e.
Gatso 30
Gatso 40
Specs 60
etc.... _________________ Fraserp

In 'change voices' make sure that you have a computer generated voice selected. The TomTom POIs will then, I think, do what you want. I haven't tested this so please let us know if it works. |

That's correct. Choose either Kate or Simon. You can then choose what you want the voice to read aloud. Go to Manage POIs in Preferences. Choose Warn near POI. Select POI you want warning for. Enter distance before POI. Select 'Type in your own warning'. Type in the text of the warning - put in spaces if you want a pause between words (there should be other codes you can put in - see Loquendo site but as far as I can see, TomTom hasn't used them). Select whether you want a warning only if the POI is on the route - select if it's a speed camera - deselect if it's PC World!
Good luck! _________________ Paul
