I've just spoken to a mate who is a manager at an ADLI store.
The Medion PDS with GPS has a 3 year warranty.
1 Year with ALDI.
2 Years with Manufacturer.
If its returned within the 1st Year you get ALDI money back guarantee..
Just thought you may like to know !!!

Just for interest.. I had to make use of the ALDI warranty today. I found that the 'voice recorder' hardware button (button under power) was faulty. I called the Medion helpline number and was told I could either send it to Medion or take it back to my local ALDI..
So, I took it back (not expecting to get it replaced) but to my surprise they had one unit 'kept back' and were able to replace my PDA.
Brilliant!
I keep getting people comment on what good value for money the ALDI deal is/was.

|

I have a problem with my Medion PPC. The screen is totally blank (it just turned off when I removed the pen and has not come back).
I never thought of going back to ALDI. I assumed that they would sell all the stock but reading the last post I see that they may have a spare.
Fingers crossed !

Try taking the battery out, putting it back in, making sure the cover is shut and poke the reset.
Cheers

See the post "Medion Crashes (Twice)" (you can search for author TJM). I beleive the problem is static electricity discharging through the pen and causing the memory on the PPC to get corrupted. |

MadPanther,
Is the one year money-back a no-quibble policy? i.e. there doesn't have to be anything wrong with the device? |
