Hi, its the old wrinkley shouting help again,. I am now getting used to my i3,,, it takes me where I want to go, but the return journeys are usually a nightmare,. as we seem to go round in circles a few times before starting to navigate,.. I would like to use the tracking facility, which the Garmin site says is on all their GPS's it uses the TracBack feature to retrace the return route.. but if it is on the i3 I can't find it. any suggestions please .? .. Thank you Ben g0plo. |

Eh? Presumably you've saved a favourite as HOME - just use the Go Home feature??

Hi, its im agen,. thanks for info, yes I have got Home as a favourite but for some reason the outward journey is direct, but the device insists on "the pretty route" to return,, admittedly we get to see more of the countryside but it can be frustrating an me compass is broke !. looks as though I will ave to save a few coppers out of me pension and upgrade.
Cheers and beers,. Ben g0plo. |

If you start going back the way you came, chances are the i3 will recalculate the route after a little while and take you back pretty much the same way once it sees you're using that route. Just need to remember the last bit of the route so that you can start to double back the same way you came. |
