How do i adda speed camera? when i look at my tomtom sometimes it appears and sometimes it doesnt. Could this be because its on an unnamed road? how do i find the longitude and latitude from the tom tom map instead of having to drive there and write it down?

I'm presuming that you mean in Browse Map.
The Icons will come-and-go as you zoom into the Map. Once you zoom right in every one will show, if they are in the Map Display Area.
If you Tap the Screen, where you want to mark a Location, you will get the flashing Cursor that looks like the Navigate Icon. If you then Tap the NavigateIcon, at the bottom of the Screen, you will get a Screen of Options, one of which is Add as POI.
If you Tap this Icon, you will be asked to Select a Category for the Location to be stored in. In the Name Menu you have the option of changing the Displayed Text.
You will, of course, need to create a New Category from the Manage POI Menu if you just want to find the Lat/Long without changing your existing POI Groups.
This POI Category can them be Copied to the PC, as an OV2 File and changed to a Text File with Programs such as POIConverter, Dumpov2 or POIEdit. _________________ Richard

The speed cameras are just like any other point of interest (POI).
If you want to add a POI, you go to "Change preferences", then "Manage POI", "Add POI", choose the POI category (one of the camera groups or whatever), and then you can add it by all the usual options:- "Home", "Favourite", "Address", "Recent Destination", "another POI", "Postcode", "Point on Map", "POI in City" and "GPS position" (i.e. where you are now).
But if it's a speed camera you want to add, here's how I do it:
Firstly, make a new POI category called "New Cameras" to store them in (in Change Preferences / Manage POI / Add POI Category). Set up your preferred warnings and alerts just like the other cameras.
Then:
Method 1 - Store straight into the New Cameras POI category
Tap to go to to Menu page 1 / Change preferences / forward arrow / Manage POI / Add POI / Scroll up or down and select category "New Cameras" / forward arrow / GPS position / then name it.
That's way too many button presses for me when driving, so:
Method 2 - Temorarily store as a Favourite
Tap screen / Add favourite / forward arrow / GPS position / name it anything (like just "30" or whatever)
Then at your leisure, copy it from the Favourites to the POI category by:
Menu page 1 / Change preferences / forward arrow / Manage POI / Add POI / Scroll up or down and select category "New Cameras" / Favourite / select it / then name it properly
If you do it this way (easier to do than to describe!), you will have your own "New Cameras" that appear like all the others,
PLUS you can now send them off to the PocketGPS people at the end of each month (using the "send ov2" box on:- http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=Cameras) so they can add them to the master database for everyone to use.
