This could be a stupid question, but go with me on this.
I have uploaded a couple of POI files successfully (1 is UK airports and the other is Football grounds).
I want to naviagte to say Manchester Airport from Essex so I would do the following
Where To -
Food Hotels & More
Custom Points
Airports
And it then comes up with a list of Airports, but the list only has airports within about a 60 mile radius of where I am?
It does the same with football grounds, only lists ones within a certain radius? (about 125 miles)
I have checked that the airport and football grounds are in the CSV files (which they are).
Even if I spell the name it still doesn't find it!
Am I doing something wrong, or just being very stupid (probably the later).
Thanks for any help |

Sadly it only lists the nearest 50 POI.
I can't think of a way round it if it won't find it through spelling.... |

There is a way around this but it requires you to have access to Yell, or Google,..First search for where you want to go eg( Manchester Airport) which should bring up a postcode M90 1QX ..then input that into your i3.

What about setting the i3 to navigate to Manchester, when you are say 50 miles away, try and find the airport on in POIs and it should take you right there. |

THERE IS A VERY EASY WAY TO DO THIS
Where to/ cities/ (search by name) Manchester/ Manchester airport/
alternatively (a more precise way):
Where to/ cities/ (search by name) Manchester/ Manchester/ find nearby/ food, hotels, and more/ transit/ air transportation/ pick a terminal etc
using this method you can find the 50 closest POIs if any type near any location.
hope this helps. |
