Hello all,
I have the Acer N35 running Destinator 3. I was wondering if someone could possibly send me the "circle" voice file for roundabouts! I have installed a different file which I dont like as much and I didnt keep a copy of the original!
Also, the original file that I require tells me I am 3 miles from the roundabout when I am only 2 miles from it, any idea if this can be changed when I, hopefully, receive the file from one?
pm me your email and i'll send you the file you want. Alternatively you can reinstall destinator. Have you changed anything in the maneuver file which may be causing it to say three instead of 2. It should be set for 3km or 2 miles dependant on which units you want to use. Was it working before with 2 miles? _________________ Goodmans GNAV10

Must be something wrong on your DestinaorVoiceManeuver.inf in the All folder. Copy it and paste it on a reply so we can see what is wrong.
You are sure it is saying 3 miles and not 3 kilometers? If it is saying kilometers then it is just a simple case of changing your general settings to miles and yards instead of meters and kilometers. _________________ Goodmans GNAV10

On first look I can't see a problem with that, just to recap, you didn't answer my question:
Quote:
You are sure it is saying 3 miles and not 3 kilometers? If it is saying kilometers then it is just a simple case of changing your general settings to miles and yards instead of meters and kilometers.

Not sure why your device is playing up with the distances.
There was a problem with the initial ini file, but as your working from the edited file this should work ok.
Are you sure you have replaced the voicemanuvers file since the hard reset as the hard reset will replace the file I sent you with the default file which has the bug your talking about.

The '3 miles when its 2' issue is a known problem with D3 and is covered somewhere in the stickies above I believe. _________________ Tom Tom GO 720
