POI distance incorrect

hello,

I have a tomtom one 5.420 with speedcams and what i believe to be the correct date.chk loaded for this version

when i select navigate to poi it has the distance on the left of the POI screen along side all the poi's, for example manchester airport reads 48 miles, when i navigate to this the shortest distance on the actual route is 70 miles which is correct.

for some strange reason the POI screen distances are incorrrect but when navigated to they are correct

any ideas

These are direct line distances ("as the crow flies"). When you plan a route to them then the TT has to use the roads which is obviously further.
