tried to load TT2, not workable. Before I buy another package can anyone recommend what they have managed to get working with the iNS 1.2, Co Pilot 3 misses masses of roads and would like a little more up to date package?
Thanks

I have been using TT1 without any issues and I am aware of people using TT2 on the Compaq iNS hardware. What went wrong when you tried this? |

Ian,
I think the crux of the matter may have been it not recognising the card. Tried many times and nothing, went into GPS setting and changed the receiver to Navman 3000 and it never did anything, even switched of the "beam" aspect in connections. Would love to use TT2 as it appears much more flexible, up to date and usable.

Colin, the iNS sleeve won't work with other applications unless you have a serial driver installed.
If you have the original Navman 3000 sleeve, you can download the Navman serial driver from Navman's website.
If you have the iNS sleeve, then you will need CoPilot installed, then install TomTom Navigator over the top and you should then be able to connect to the sleeve. |
