Pre-upgrade questions

Ok I only have a few days left to consider upgrading from V3 to V5 and I have a couple of questions specific to my needs of the software that Im hoping someone can answer.

1) In navigator mode does the screen run at full screen? Is it possible to change this as I use the taskbar at the top of the screen for a number of things while TomTom is running. (XDA IIi - I like to see my phone signal strenght as well as my clock)

2) Is it possible to change the compass from the V5 compass to the V3 compass? Is the compass not just an image file that gets rotated to show direction?

3) Can I use all my custom POI's in V5? Does it allow me to create more POI? (I have created my own POI with missing roads for my area (new estates and re-named roads) and would like to continue to use these?

4) Are there any XDA specific bugs I should know about?

I'm the same, just got a few days left to upgrade TT3 on my 3970.

Anyone know of any problems with TT5 on the 3970?

I'm still using the sd card that came with the 3970, cant remember what size it is and I dont have my 3970 at hand. I do know that with the ukmap of TT3 on it it is nearly full.

What would be the best make of card to buy? what size would I need to get the best out of the TT5 upgrade?
