Update from 5.00 to 5.1???

I have at long last retired my EMTAC GPS sleeve in favour of a Holux GR-213 GPS Mouse.

I am more than impressed with the performance of the 213 which gives me a 'norm' of 8 to 9 sattelites whereas I was used to 3 to 4 (in town) and mayby 5 to 6 at other times from the EMTAC. The 213 is currently located in the centre console under the armrest, which says even more for its performance :D

Back to topic!!! (sorry) I have now been able to reinstall TTN5 which failed to work with the EMTAC (never obtained or maintained a fix) TTN3 worked like a dream. TTN5 now seems OK, all I have done is the 'empty tomtom folder postcode workaround' and may customise the menue.

Is it worth updating to 5.1 as I believe there are some issues regarding perfomance??? as opposed to sticking with 5.0. Can anybody please let me know the benefits experienced from 5.1? I certainly currently have no problems (NOW) with GPS performance/compatibility, which I believe was one of the underling supposed benefits for the update.

5.1 is mainly fixing Pocket PC Phone Edition issues (like crashes after incoming calls finish) as well as soft keyboard and Bluetooth switchoffs. It doesn't hurt in other cases but you may not see a difference.

You can always make a backup of your current setup, then install 5.1 and if you don't like it go back to the saved state.
