Does anyone know what the changes are between version 5 and 5.1. I am considering buying but have been put off by reports of slow running. Wondered whether 5.1 is a solution. |

I know some of you love Navigon 5 so I don't want to slag it off & upset anyone but I can only tell you what the update done for my N5 on my Mio 168.
The basic prog ran very slow & even putting in a address was hard work so I was very much looking forward to the 5.1 update. It came & I downloaded it straight away & the prog ran faster, much faster until I took it out on the road & found that although the prog now ran OK it still was way behind with the icon & did not run in real time like TT5 or TT3 does & when driving in town I would miss a turn as the arrow on the map was yards behind where my car was.
I would say get another pro even my old Mio Map ran in realtime & I found N5 a real disapointment.
Sorry to be so negative |

Thanks for the heads up. Sounds like TT5 is the best bet here. What a dissapointment, I was looking forward to MN5, thought it would have been really good. |

It is a very nice layout & does look very good but it is a shame it is so slow, It could be that it only runs slow on a Mio !. |
