Peak District Phantom Speed Cams

I have just come back from a holiday in the Peak District where my TT5 bluetooth was invaluble. But one intersting thing did arise on the speed camera front.

Some of the listed speed camera's are nothing but speed camera signs! Does anyone know if these are soon to be camera's or there is some sort of error in the listing?

I of course have to say this the right way round and prefer a fake warning to no warning for a camera.

Also has anybody experienced the same thing elsewhere?

If they are Mobile camera sites, there might be a camera there only once a month. But one has been seen at some time, and it is re-assuring, especially when you do see a 'nearly white van man'.
