I've been trying to configure my Nokia 6230 to work with my hp ipaq 2100 I've tried the setting that's listed on the forum and I cant get anywhere,it connects then it will tell me that I have the wrong access point.
Having looked at older posts on the forum there seems to be issues with Bluetooth on early 6230's which mine is, so as my contract's up in a couple of weeks im looking to get a new phone can anyone recommend one? ideally a Nokia phone.

That's strange. I use a 6230 for Traffic on the O2 contract settings as per the guide. Has GPRS been enabled on your account? |

6230 received December 2004. I think it's got firmware version 4.4.
Check firmware version by typing *#0000#. |

If contracted on O2 try looking at the XDA - that way you get a decent PDA and phone, there are some issues with it but the forums can sort out most of the rubbish O2 load up, mine drives TT5,1 fine with a BT headset for legal stuff and has nigh on replaced my ipaq-4700, dependent upon you tariff it could be free, £99, or £179 - please note this is for info purposes I do not work for O2 so this is impartial advice - Mike |
