perhaps a wooly jumper ?
At least it shows the tomtom is popular, how many other devices do you see 'accessories' like this for. Do you reckon this is home made ? |

Unbelievable ! I think you guys may be missing the point of a navigation system. The idea is that you get clear driving instructions reinforced by visible maps.
What’s the point of having a “natural” looking Tom Tom with John Cleese talking to you when you can’t see the screen because of the reflection !
Don’t tell me, you don’t wear a hat in the sun because you think you look silly don’t you.
I thought so !!!!

Well as for looking Stupid ?? maybe the picture does not do it justice ? I bought my Tom tom as a TOOL to get me from A to B and as i have tried a few other navigators i happen to think this is the best AND I WOULD NOT GIVE A FLYING FIG !! what it looked like as long as it did the Job ? I never bought it as a fashion accessory ? or for how nice it looked ? now this hood has enabled me to use My Tom Tom Go in the brightest of sunshine with no problems and as mine is the original Go with the not so good screen i have used the supplied anti-reflective film and this is at least a 50% inprovement !!! I am p[osting this not to be argumentive but to try and encourage anyone that finds the sunshine a nuisance to spend the piddly little sum of £7.90 (Just checked my bank statement) for this wonderfull bit of kit regards a very satisfied customer |

I made my own for my 700. Tough flexible plastic with scored corner sections to make the angles. Inside of shade has loop velcro on it while the GO has the hook velcro tucked in and behind the front cover meaning I just stick it on when it needed and rip off when I don't...

I think that with the amount of money people spend it's about time the makers made them with non glare screens I dont think that it would be that hard after all.
Thats my opinion for what it's worth. _________________ Takara GP56 igo primo 1.1

I ordered on the 14th and recieved it today (20th) by air mail. however I didn't get any advice of dispatch.
Attachment is tricky but if you take your time its ok. Dosen't look bad at all - will now put it to the test. Also comes with screen protector/anti glare cover. |
