Go to change preferences, then on page 5 there's a set units button - you can then change between miles and kilometres Laughing

Strange...... If the units are set to miles then Jane should give the directions in yards, and vice versa. Confused

I've only used the Kilometres onces when in France a couple of weeks ago, I changed it to km 'cos all the road signs were in km. When I got back to the UK I changed it back and Jane's been happily going along in yards ever since.

When you plan a routr does it give the distances to go in Miles or KM?

My guess is now that it all changed when the last update was put in, certain she said "yards" before that.....................

My units are set to "miles" and jane talks in "yards". So still OK after the 5.201 upgrade on a Classic.

No, you don't lose everything. It just reboots and resets it's internal memory.

You will need to leave it to switched on for it to collect all the sat data again. Just be patient.

Have you tried changing the "units" to metres/kilometres and then back again to yards? That sort of thing often works on PCs when something has got stuck.
