|

I have connected my mobile phone via bluetooth to the 700 ok. I can make and receive calls via the 700 ok and the most recent call and recent call list are available and useable. I loaded the phonebook from my mobile and it said the 700 reported that the phonebook had been loaded ok. When I try to access the phone book it stays greyed out. I have retried this several times and the 700 tells me the phonebook has been loaded ok but it is still greyed out.
any help would be great.
Thanks |

I have tried another angle.I have the Motorola V620. The numbers were downloaded from the Sim memory originally. I have now loaded them to the phone memory and then tried the download to ttg700 and it now works |

Yep,
Had the same problem. It looks like the Tom Tom Go won't download the phonebook unless it is stored on the phones memory. |

Hi All, I have also had problems loading my phone book from a Nokia 6230, have tried from the phones memory, the sim card etc and have only ever managed to get approx 4 number out of 50 stored. 700 staes it has finished downloading but has not. Everything else appears to be working. Have sent the problem to Tom Tom |

TomTom Go 700 Not wishing to teach anyone to suck eggs, but I have found that you can directly input the names and telephone numbers directly into the "Contacts Text Document" and they all work fine. However it does not resolve the problem as to why the 700 will not download the phone book. Have not had an answer back from TomTom as yet. |
