OK, here's the thing.

I have a nice new 1Gb SD card, the GB map card that my TTG300 came with and (yes I have it!) the 2005 USA maps SD card.

What I would like to know is, whats the best way of copying both SD cards on to the single big boy?

Do I copy the US ones on first (5.1 seems to be the version) and then copy the GB ones on second, then subsequently overwriting any duplicate files?

Input greatly appreciated.

Steve

I don't think it matters!

But I don't quite understand why you want to do it anyway! You're unlikely to be driving in the UK and US on the same journey! Why not just swap cards?

Laughing Out Loud! - I understand your point about the same journey.

The idea was to buy to the big SD card and just back up both my originals on to this one. Then I can tuck the originals away for safe keeping.

OK, but my impression is that the US maps take the best part of a gigabyte anyway, so are you sure that you've got room for UK at the same time. If not, you could buy another cheap 256k card for day to day use in UK.

Make sure that you back everything up to a computer hard disk too - and preferably to CD/DVD as well for good measure.

This latest policy of TT of supplying many of the maps *only* on SD card leaves a lot to be desired, in my view.
