alix776,
Right i've installed 5, but cannot get the cr100 gps reviever to work with it. I select "OTHER NMEA DEVICE", 4800 baud rate and com 1 (as on tt3) but it just keeps saying "no gps device". I've left it for 15 minutes while stationary and still nothing |

you need to have the cr100 powered up via the car lead and then do this
START > SETTINGS >CONNECTIONS > BEAM uncheck receive all incoming beam then set up the gps again ie
start tomtom tap the signal bars then do the same in the route summery screen this will take you the gps screen select configure then other wired gps set baud rate to 4800 then select com1 then select done _________________ currently using aponia truck navigation on windows phone. Do you keep GPRS "on" all the time? If not, you may have fallen foul of the GPRS reconnect "bug" in the XDA 2i, which in some circumstances prevents reconnection to GPRS, if it has been connected, then disconnected. Only a soft reset, or switching Flight Mode on then off again clears this problem, but it reappears after the next GPRS connect/disconnect cycle.
If you try connecting GPRS, then starting TomTom and updating Traffic before any other GPRS activity, does it still freeze? |

Yes unfortunately it makes no difference. Traffic starts but the green arrow stops and only a soft rest works.

I asked tomtom if the XDA2i is supported and they said yes with a BT GPS. |

OK I'm running XDA2i TT5 and ClipOn BT GPS after performing the reg hack on this forum all works ok with no problems.
Once you have set up the XDA2i it runs ok but a real pain in the Ar5e to set up. not TomToms best effort
