Hi,
i am stuck with the poi, but i had the same issue with activesync, i had to remove it from my pc and then restart the pc and then re-install activesync.. this worked on the 2nd attempt.. was very frustrating..
but try removing it then restart and re-install. |

I've had a similar problem i.e Activesync doesn't appear to work out of box in partnership mode but it will allow me transfer files via the guest mode option.
I'm interested in performing a full backup (in guest mode) but everytime I kick it off, it complains that the "disk is full". I've changed the preference location for the Backup.stg file but I still get the same error.
So I guess my question is, can I backup my system in guest mode and why can't I setup a partnership ?
Also, even using guest mode, I managed to get the POI working. I simply found a copy of taskbar hack. Copied it into the start up folder, rebooted and followed the instructions from this site.
Many thanks in advance.
Darren

I have discovered there is no need to hack the os / install task bar to install speed camera software. _________________ TomTom Via 135 |

read somewhere that partnership won't work as it is a PNA not a PDA (the 95900 that is) though you can still copy/delete files ok in guest mode.
As for the backup, I'm also looking for an answer to that one. |

The only thing you need to back up are the favoruites.txt file which contains all your saved locations, and the contents of your routes directory which contains any multiple-destination routes that you've saved.
Everything else is on the CD that came with it. Plus, if you haven't edited anything on the memory card you don't even need the CD. Just switch it off on the back and then on again and everything will reinstall fresh.
Basically all you need is the favourites.txt file. |

You will find though that the favourites.txt file remains in memory, even after a hard reset! _________________ TomTom Via 135 |
