Hope someone can help me.
Where can I find street level maps of France for my Medion PNA200 as the one that came with the system only include major roads.
I have looked at that the Medion website and they only have American ones.
Thanks in advance. |

Sadly this is a problem of Medion, they always seem to be behind on supplying the maps for their products, if you hunt around on the net or use file sharing programs you might find some around but that is unlikely. |

As far as I know the Medion maps are manufatured by Tele Atlas and the Navigon units are nearly the same units as the Medion ones but have a slightly different GPS operating systems of the Navigator series that is just customised for each manufacturer (They are probably all made at the same place anyway) however the maps they both use are the same, if anyone know diffenrlty please say so.
If you look on the UK Medionshop site you will see that the maps they sell for the Medion Navigator are Navigon maps but you will need the version that matches your particular Navigator program, in your case V4.75 (Dont worry about the .75 etc as long as its version 4 you can use any range of maps in that particular series. e.g. I use V4.4 but have maps for V4.2 that work ok on my MDPNA175 if you get my drift.
You will just have to keep on hunting sadly

Thanks for that.
I had emailed Medion over the weekend, but no reply as yet.
Has anyone bought from Medion Shop before, is it fairly easy and do they deliver promptly. |

About a year ago I bought for a friend a French map for the Med Nav 2 system, it arrived fairly quickly within a few days, its best to order the maps online, if you have problems you can then call the hotline on
0870 727 0370
Cheers

I have bought one item from the Medion shop site. The goods were as described but, as usual, the user guide was of no use. I tried to email there tech support and got an email back telling me to phone the help line. Nice bit of music when you phone but it gets a bit tedious after 20 minutes. If you want an after sales service, buy elsewhere (try lowestonweb.com). |
