|
|
1) I read on here that the view of TTN5 is in both portrait and Lanscape ( switchable ! ) is this correct?
2) Does the whole application install onto SD card without the reg edit faffing about that I had to do incase my battery goes flat.
Thanks |

1) yes
2) yes, but it's also less of a hassle for the RAM install when you have the 2577 folder on the SD card too - that will reinstall it when it's gone. _________________ Lutz

The 2577 folder is a folder in your Tomtom SD card that has the GPS driver and the Tomtom application. It will install to your RAM when the SD card is inserted.
So if you don't have Tomtom installed in ram, every time you insert the tomtom SD card it will probably try to install the 2577 folder programs every time. |

well, not every time. It checks if the app is installed. If not then it proceeds with a reinstall. _________________ Lutz

Note that he folder came with the SD card which my TT4 was on when I bought it. That wrecked the TT5 upgrade becasue every time the card was inserted, TT4 would without warning overwrite TT5! It is a rea lshame that TT can't write an installer that can replace the old 2577 foldr with one that would work! |
