hi to all
i have to start asking help...
i have a tungsten t2, i have installed over a mapsonic.. i am currently using the version on palm 1.32.
what happen.. i have a small map stored on device memory and it works fine, but if i try to copy the map on sd, mapsonic is not able to see that.
i try to change more then one sd, but the issue is the same.
i have copy the map directly with a sd adaptor (not installing from hotsync), put in the root of sd, in the folder Mapsonic_Maps as told in the istruction, in the folder palm os, palm os\mapsonic_maps... seems there is no way.
i have also made a hard reset of palm and reinstalled creating a another user...
when i select open from the palm menu, i choose card... it is always empty.
have anyone a idea?
many thanks
Roberto

When you create the map in MapStore you need to identify where it is going to be synched to, the Palm memory or the SD card. For some reason the format of the map that is saved in the Palm's memory is different from when it is saved on the SD card.
With my previous version of MapStore you could save it in the SD card format to the PC hard drive and then copy it via a card reader. I have not tried that yet with this version, which comes with 3.0, but there must be a way. I always put maps on the SD card so as to leave as much memory on the Palm (I also have a T2) as possible.
Saying that the synching is much faster now than before, although a whole country can take an age.
So you need to synch a new map direct to the SD card and can't copy it from the Palm memory to the card and vica versa.
