|

Please can someone help me.
I have the Medion MD41800 PDA that i bought from Aldi last year.
I mainly use it for SatNav in the car, and would like to use the Speed camera software Database with it.
Is this possible?
I have purchased a licence for Poi Warner and have installed that on the PDA ok.
I cannot see how to use the speed camera database with it, I downloaded the database, and I have tried putting the .ov2 files in various location, but Poi Warner does not recogniseor see them. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks in advance

Since I posted this question, I have found out how to get the speed camera database to work with my GPS PDA.
I dont claim any credit, but loads of thanks go to the guy who put this web site together.
Go to the site in the link below and it will tell you how to set it all up and how to convert the files for use on our Medion units.
Mine now works like a dream, and picks up all the cameras in my area and beyond, even the mobile sites.
Don't forget to download the sound files from this site, so that you can customise the program to anounce Gatso, mobile , traffic or specs cameras. Otherwise the program will anounce "entering a Danger zone", which is not very meaningful.
It is a little bit of work but well worth it
