I 'think' I have applied SP1 to my new 650, but there was a USB error at the end so I would like to check.

Is there anyway I can confirm that SP1 is applied to my V3 software?

Finally I got around to testing your theory and you are right. It was in manual mode, pressed esc and all is well.

Have been thru all the menus and settings and cannot find any mention of a scrolling option. The only thing even close is the auto zoom option, and this is enabled.

Hit the page button as you are probably on map view rather than navigation view. Failing that there is an option in the menu to keep position on screen and this may be unticked.
