How about some software for the Garmin to capture POI's. 
I realise it is probably a lot easier requested than implemented, otherwise some birght spark would have already done it.  |

Atm I have 4.75 and the standard UK plus main roads of Europe.
Would like to upgrade to full Europe, but not at any price.
