I personally use a cassette adapter (Yes my car is old enough to have a cassette ;-) ) and plug into the headphone socket. Sound perfect out of the speakers in the car and means I can hear directions ... |

On my 660, I get 2 dings to say speed camera/zone change ahead, and a single ding if it thinks I'm going too fast.
Either case the top banner goes red to show I'm in a camera zone.

As far as i could see when testing traffic, it didnt work. I had that setting switched on and in a 60min delay traffic jam it just kept me on the same route through the traffic jam.
