Good day,
I have been using tomtoms for many many years. I brought the new 6000 but as many people has mentioned it was rubbish so sold it onle and brought a double bed.
I have since been using tomtom on ipad and iphone which was very good but ipad always was slow to keep charged up.
So this week I went for it, very reluctantly I wanted the 2799 as thought I would like a big screen alike the ipad currently using but after no finding any top purchase I brought 2agarmin 2699.
Today I have done my first long trip in it and very very impressed.
Like the eco mode and staticisa is showed _ not on tomtom
Liked the warnings of speed cameras appearing.
Don't like I roadworks showing up that have been gone since december 2014.
Did not like traffic not showing whole journey as on old tomtom. |

Ye Gods! I mean, I know TomTom has really gone downhill, but a double bed? Does it do POIs and Traffic? _________________ Dennis

Traffic is via a cable plugged into the charger. Show quite good but reports say that smaller roads are not covered so good.
I have downloaded POIs from outside webpage and some made by tomtom converted for Garmin. |

@ fitton2002: Which make of double bed are you using that has these features?
@ DennisN: I thought you'd resolved not to do subtle any more. You know it doesn't work. _________________ Anita
