Hi,

My Mum has an original tomtom start with the tomtom cameras preinstalled.
Silly question, how can i remove those and use your database.

If i connect it to my laptop and open tomtom home, i can see the cameras listed under "manage my start".
Do i just tell home to remove those 2 files then dump your database into the map folder?

Also I use the database on my go300 and phone using your app, would i be able to use the same database on Mum's start as well or would i need another subscription?

The 'rules' say that you can use the database on up to three devices in the same 'household' on one subscription.

Thanks, she lives with me so it should be all legal.

Is the procedure to install the database correct?

Hi Guy's
First off Merry Christmas.
Can anyone help?
I received a TT Start 60M for Christmas, but after hours of searching and installing and reinstalling and reinstalling TT's MyDrive, I can't seem to find the "Manage community content" button on the MyDrive pop-up on my pc's task bar, which makes me think that I can't add the speed cam database or POI's.

Hi V7Tee,
Sorry if this is a bit late.
You SHOULD be seeing the "Manage community content" for that Start model, but you'll only get it when the TomTom is physically connected to the PC (and recognised by MyDrive) and you may have to be logged in with the right account name / email address too (I cant remember that for sure...)

Here's what it looks like for my Go1005 when 1. not connected and 2. connected:

You MAY wish to uninstall/reinstall again but this time first download the freeware version of Revo Uninstaller from here:
http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html

and completely uninstall MyDrive first

Then get a fresh copy from tomtom.com/getstarted.

I also just remembered that you also need Microsoft's dotNET 3.5 framework for MyDrive to function correctly (at least you do on Windows XP, it might all be different now!)

Thanks Andy, it's not to late, I can't send it back until Monday.
According to TT my device doesn't support "Manage community content" at the moment.
I have connected my Start 60 in the way that you've said, and nothing, but completely clearing it off and freshly downloading it etc is definitely worth a try.
I hadn't thought of that.
Thanks for the reply and the links , I will give it a go asap tonight. Fingers crossed.
